Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana (Edn Astt) 

Nirman Sramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship is a financial assistance provided by the Government of Odisha to the children of registered construction workers. Under this scheme, students of class VI schools and colleges can get a scholarship ranging from Rs.2,000 to Rs.40,000 annually depending on their class or course.

Eligibility:

• Parent must be a registered construction worker under the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BoC).
• Must be registered for at least 1 year.
• Maximum 2 children per family can get this help.
• For Class 6 & 7, only girl students are eligible.
• From Class 8 onwards, both boys and girls can apply.
• Girl students from Class 8 onwards get 20% extra money.
• Student must have at least 50% attendance in school/college.

Godabarisha Vidyarthi Protsahana Yojana (LAPTOP DBT) -

Godavarish Vidyarthi Ntoshona Yojana is a scholarship scheme of the Government of Odisha. Under this scheme, meritorious students who have passed their +2 (12th) examination from CHSE Odisha or Sanskrit University (SJSV, Puri) will get ₹30,000 directly in their bank accounts. This money is given in lieu of laptops to help students buy their own laptops for higher education. To avail this benefit, students must be in the official merit list, they must apply online through the state scholarship portal before the last date.

Eligibility:

Must be a 12th pass student from:

CHSE Odisha or
Sri Jagannath Sanskrit University (SJSV), Puri

Must be in the merit list published by the Higher Education Department.

Preferably scored 60% or more marks.

Must have:

• Aadhaar card
• Aadhaar-linked mobile number
• Aadhaar-seeded (NPCI mapped) bank account

Amount:

Rs. 30,000 (one-time grant).

Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana -

Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana is a scholarship scheme of the Government of Odisha. It is for the children of farmers who are beneficiaries of the CM-KISAN scheme. This scholarship helps them to study in professional and technical courses like engineering, medicine, agriculture, nursing, ITI, diploma etc.

Eligibility:

Children of farmers registered under CM-KISAN Scheme (either under Cultivation Support or Landless Agricultural Household Support).

Students must take admission in:

• Government colleges.
• Private colleges having AISHE Code (inside Odisha).
• Premier Government Institutes (like IIT, NIT, IIM, AIIMS, ICAR) inside or outside Odisha.
• Admission must be on merit basis.
• Students must not be receiving any other scholarship (or should shift from existing to this scheme).
• Scholarship allowed for only one professional course.
• No private college outside Odisha is eligible.

• Graduation Courses: MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Tech, BBA, BCA, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Forestry, Fisheries, Polytechnic, ITI, etc.

Vyasakabi Fakirmohan Bhasabruti -

This scholarship is for students pursuing their M.A. in Oriya (Hons.) and Oriya language. Students from all categories (General, SC, ST, OBC/SEBC, EBC) can apply. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students through a one-time payment to complete their higher education in the Oriya language.

Eligibility:

Must be a resident of Odisha.

For Plus 3 (UG) Odia (Honors):

Must have 70% marks in Plus 2.
Studying Odia (Honors) in Plus 3.

For M.A. (Odia):

Must have 60% marks in Odia (Honors) in Plus 3.
Studying M.A. in Odia.

Admission must be in a Government or Government-Aided Institution.
Students must have passed the previous examination in first attempt.

Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana (Edn Astt) -

1. Visit: scholarship.odisha.gov.in
2. New User: Click Register and get your User ID & Password via Aadhaar verification.
3. Existing User: Click Login.
4. Fill in the Application Form and upload required documents.
5. Save as Draft or Proceed to next step.
6. Submit the form after checking details.
7. Download and print the completed form.

Application goes to:
School/College → Welfare Extension Officer (WEO) → District Labour Officer (DLO) → Collector for sanction.
Money is sent directly to parent’s bank account via DBT.
