Telangana ePASS is a scholarship scheme launched by the Telangana government to help poor students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minority and Disabled categories. The government pays their school or college fees and provides some additional money for their education. This scholarship is available from class V to higher studies (PhD). Group I: Professional Courses

These are top-level professional courses like:

• Degree & PG in Medicine (like MBBS, MD)
• Engineering (B.Tech, M.Tech)

Telangana ePASS Scholarship 2025 All Scholarship Name & Other Details

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare -

The purpose of the Pre-Matric Scholarship under Telangana ePASS is to support SC, ST, BC and disabled students studying in classes 5th to 10th. Its main aim is to help students from poor families continue their studies and reduce the school dropout rate.

Eligibility:

• Applicable to students studying in class 9th and 10th.
• Must belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority/PWD
• Minimum 75% attendance in every quarter
• Annual family income should be below Rs.2,00,000 (Urban SC/ST/BC/Minority), Rs.1,50,000 (Rural SC/Minority), or Rs.1,00,000 (EBC/PWD).

Amount:

• For students of Classes 5 to 8 boys receive Rs.100 per month and girls receive  Rs.150 per month, both for a duration of 10 months in a year. 
• Students in Classes 9 and 10 who are day scholars receive  Rs.150 per month along with  Rs.750 per year for purchasing books. 
• Meanwhile, hostel students in Classes 9 and 10 receive Rs.350 per month and Rs.1,000 per year for books. This financial support aims to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds continue their education without financial stress.

Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare -

Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) under ePASS is a financial assistance scheme for students who have completed class 10 and are pursuing higher education courses. This scholarship is for students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC and Disabled Welfare category.

Eligibility:

• Available for SC/ST/BC/EBC/Disabled students.
• Must have studied from class 11 to postgraduate.
• Must have passed the previous class with the required marks for this scheme (usually a minimum pass or above average).
• At least 75% attendance must be maintained in each quarter of the academic year.

Overseas Scholarships -

Foreign Scholarships under ePASS help minority students to study in foreign universities by covering their education expenses. These scholarships ensure that deserving students from minority communities can get quality education abroad. Three different scholarships are available under the ePASS Foreign Scholarship Scheme to help students fulfill their dream of studying abroad.

Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi (SC/ST Students):-

This scholarship is designed exclusively for SC/ST students who wish to pursue higher education abroad. It covers tuition fees, living expenses, airfare, and visa fees.

Eligibility:

• Graduate/Post Graduate students in Management, Engineering, Medical, Social Sciences etc.
• Minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination
• Age Limit: 35 years as on 1 July.
• Annual Income: Rs. 2,00,000 lakh (SC),Rs. 2,50,000 lakh (ST) Must do Masters/PhD abroad (USA, UK, Australia etc.).

Amount:

Covers students' tuition fees, living expenses, airfare and visa fees; up to a maximum of Rs. 2,00,000.

Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme (Minority Students) -

This scholarship is given to students from minority communities who have scored at least 60% marks in their graduation or post-graduation. It helps them study in well-known colleges or universities in foreign countries and get better learning opportunities.

Eligibility:

Students who have completed graduation or post-graduation in approved fields like management, engineering, medicine, or social sciences.

• At least 60% marks in their last exam.
• Must be 30 years old or younger as on 1st July.
• Annual family income must be less than Rs.2,00,000.

Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Overseas Vidya Nidhi (BC/EBC Students) -

This scholarship supports students of BC/EBC category from Telangana who wish to pursue higher education abroad. They bear the actual fee cost up to Rs.20 lakhs or the actual fee.

Eligibility:

• Only postgraduate students who are planning to pursue postgraduate (PG) studies abroad.
• Must have secured at least 60% marks in postgraduate.
• Must be 30 years of age or less as on 1st July.
• Must be the only child in the family.
• If from a rural area: Annual family income should be less than Rs.1,50,000.
• If from urban area: Annual family income should be less than Rs.2,00,000.
• Scholarship is applicable for pursuing postgraduate (PG) courses abroad.

Amount:

Eligible students can receive financial assistance of up to Rs.20 lakh or the actual tuition fee, whichever is lower, for pursuing higher education abroad.
