Staff Selection Commission Recruitment 2025 - Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: 

Candidates must have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Age Limit:

For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Minimum Age: 18 years & Maximum Age: 25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.08.2000 and not later than 01.08.2007).

For Havildar (CBIC & CBN): Minimum Age: 18 years & Maximum Age: 27 years (i.e., candidates born before 02.08.1998 and candidates born after 01.08.2007)

Age Relaxation:

• SC / ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD (Unreserved / EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
• Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after deduction of military service from age
• Defence Personnel disabled in hostilities and released: 3 years
• Defence Personnel disabled in hostilities and released (SC / ST): 8 years
• Central Govt. Civilian Employees (Min. 3 years regular service): Up to 40 years of age
• Central Govt. Civilian Employees (Min. 3 years service) – SC / ST: Up to 45 years of age
• Widows / Divorced Women / Judicially separated women (not remarried): Up to 35 years of age
• Widows / Divorced Women / Judicially separated women (SC / ST, not remarried): Up to 40 years of age.
