Ladakh Scholarship 2025 All Scholarship Name & Other Details

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Students belonging to National Minorities
Pre-Matric Scholarship for National Minority Students is a government scheme that provides financial assistance to students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians, etc.) studying in classes 1 to 10. The scholarship covers admission fees, tuition fees and monthly maintenance allowance (especially for classes 6 to 10). Students staying in schools or government hostels get higher benefits.
Eligibility Must belong to one of the national minority communities – Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians, Parsis (Zoroastrians), or Jains.
Must be studying in Class 1 to Class 10 in a recognized school within India.
Must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination.
The annual income of the student’s parents/guardians must not exceed Rs.1 lakh from all sources.
Must be a resident of India and studying in any recognized school in India.
Amount Admission fee from class VI to X
Hostellers: Rs.500/- per annum subject to actual.
Day Scholars: Rs.500/- per annum subject to actual.
Tuition fee from class VI to X

How to Apply Students can obtain the free scholarship application form from their head of institution or District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), or download it from the website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. After filling the form, the head of the institution will verify the documents and send it to the concerned authority - CEO (for students up to class 12), DSWO (graduates and above), or Director of Social Welfare (for students studying outside the state)
Post-Matric Scholarship for Students belonging to National Minorities
Post-Matric Scholarship for Students of National Minorities is a scheme of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, to help students from minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains) pursue education beyond class 10.
Eligibility Must belong to a minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, or Parsi).
Must be studying in Class XI to Ph.D. level (Post-Matric or Post-Secondary stage).
Applicable only for courses not covered under the Merit-cum-Means (MCM) scheme.
Must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination.
The annual income of parents/guardians must not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh from all sources.
The student must be studying within India only.

Matric cum Means Scholarship for Students belonging to National Minorities
Matric-cum-Means Scholarship for Minority Students is a financial assistance scheme for students from minority communities (such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains) who are pursuing professional or technical courses at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in India. To be eligible, students must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous examination.
Eligibility Must belong to a Minority Community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, or Parsi).
Must be pursuing a professional or technical course at undergraduate or postgraduate level in a recognized institution in India.
Fresh Applicants: Minimum 50% marks in the last qualifying examination. Renewal Applicants: Minimum 50% marks in the previous academic year.
Students studying in the institutions listed in this scheme (70 institutions) will be eligible to pay the full course fee. Students studying in other recognized institutions will be eligible to pay a maximum course fee of Rs.20,000 per annum.
The total annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs.2.5 lakh from all sources.
Amount Maintenance Allowance (For 10 months only):
Hostellers - Rs. 10,000/- per annum (Rs. 1000/- per month)
Day Scholars - Rs. 5,000/- per annum (Rs. 500/- per month)
Course Fee: Hostellers & Day Scholars - Rs. 20,000/- per annum or the actual fee, whichever is less
How to Apply Students need to first register online at www.scholarships.gov.in. After completing the online registration, they must submit a hard copy of the application form along with income certificate, mark sheet of the last exam passed, and proof of residence to their institution.
