Candidates must carry the following self-attested documents when reporting to HRD (after receiving the call letter from BoPT) along with originals for verification:
- Matriculation certificate (Class 10 pass).
- Final year Degree/Diploma certificate & mark sheet.
- NATS registration copy.
- e-Aadhaar (downloaded from UIDAI website).
- Aadhaar-linked bank details (as uploaded on NATS portal).
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC; OBC valid for 1 year from issue date).
- One recent passport-size photo.
- Affidavit for undertaking (as per given format).
Engagement Procedure for ECL Apprentice Recruitment.
The application form and undertaking format for PGPT/PDPT can be downloaded from the official ECL website www.easterncoal.nic.in. Interested candidates have to register themselves on the NATS portal and opt for ECL by 11th September 2025.
Candidates must report to the Office of the General Manager (HRD), ECL, Dishergarh, Paschim Burdwan, WB, with their BOPT-issued call letter, original documents, and the filled application form and undertaking (available on the ECL website) on the date mentioned in the call letter. After document verification, eligible candidates will receive a training engagement letter specifying the posting location, joining date, and contract creation date. Any mismatch between documents submitted on the NATS portal and originals will lead to rejection and possible legal action. Candidates must join their assigned posting on the mentioned date, receive a joining letter from the posting office, and then report again to the HRD office with the joining letter for contract creation.
