A total of 13 posts are available at the levels of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Grade I, while Professor posts are only meant for serving faculty of NIT Delhi. The vacancies are spread across disciplines such as Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, and Applied Sciences. Eligibility Criteria for NIT Delhi Recruitment 2025

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant discipline + First Class in preceding degrees.
Assistant Professor (Grade I, Level 12): 3 years after Ph.D. / 6 years total teaching/research experience.
Associate Professor (Level 13A2): 6 years after Ph.D. (at least 3 years as Asst. Prof. with AGP Rs. 8000) OR 9 years total experience.
Professor (Level 14A): 10 years after Ph.D. / 13 years total, with at least 3–4 years as Associate Professor.
