Eligibility Criteria for RRC NR Recruitment 2025

Essential Qualification:

Candidate should have passed SSC/ Matriculation/ 10th class examination (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board and should have passed ITI in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.

Age Limit (as on 24.12.2025):

Minimum age: 15 years

Application Fee for RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2025

Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100, which can be paid online only during the application process. No other modes such as cash, cheque, money order, or demand draft will be accepted. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and all women applicants are fully exempted from paying the fee.

Application Process for Northern Railway Recruitment 2025

Candidates must first visit the RRC Northern Railway official website www.rrcnr.org and open the Act Apprentice Recruitment 2025 section. After reading the full notification carefully, they need to click on the online application link and complete the registration using a valid email ID and mobile number. Once registered, applicants should fill in all the required details correctly, upload their photograph, signature, and relevant certificates, and then pay the application fee online if required. Finally, they must submit the form and take a printout of the filled application for future use.

Selection Mode for RRC Northern Railway Apprentice Recruitment

The selection of ACT Apprentices will be done without any written test or interview. First, all the applications will be scrutinized. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the average marks obtained in Matriculation/10th (minimum 50% marks required) and ITI examination, each of which will be given equal weightage. If two candidates have the same marks, then the older candidate will be given preference; and if their date of birth is also the same, then the candidate who has passed the Matriculation examination earlier will be given preference. The final merit list will be prepared cluster-wise, trade-wise and community-wise as per the available seats.
