VBSPU Jaunpur Recruitment 2025 - Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility:
The eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor (Contractual) in VBSPU follows the UGC Regulations 2018 and relevant UP Government guidelines. Candidates should have a Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks in NET/SLET/SET qualification, or they should have a Ph.D. as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations, which exempts them from NET. As per UGC rules, 5% relaxation (from 55% to 50%) is allowed for Ph.D. holders who obtained their degree before 19th September 1991. In subjects where NET is not conducted, NET/SLET/SET is not mandatory. All degrees should be from recognized institutions approved by UGC/AICTE or relevant statutory bodies and foreign degrees should include AIU equivalent certificate.
