Azim Premji Scholarship is administered by Azim Premji Foundation. The main objective of this scholarship is to provide higher education to girls, to provide financial assistance to poor and meritorious girls who cannot afford to pursue higher education. All the students who have passed class 10th and 12th from a government school and have taken admission in a regular degree or diploma program in a government or recognized private college or university are eligible to apply. Azim Premji Foundation 2025 for Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Azim Premji Scholarship, candidates must be permanent residents of India. Candidates must have passed 10th and 12th class from a government school and be admitted to a regular degree or diploma program in a government or recognized private college or university. Female students from Ranchi, Itki block of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are eligible to participate in this program.

Azim Premji Scholarship provides financial assistance to selected needy Indian female students. Candidates must have passed Class 10 and 12 from a government school and must be admitted to a regular degree or diploma program in a government or recognized private college or university. Female students from Ranchi, Itki block of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are eligible to participate in this program. A total of about 2.5 lakh scholarships will be provided under this initiative.

Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship is available for girls from 18 states of India. These states include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Azim Premji Scholarship Amount:

The Azim Premji Scholarship provides financial assistance to selected poor Indian female students. The Azim Premji Scholarship will provide financial assistance of Rs. 30,000 per annum to the students. This Azim Premji Scholarship provides scholarships for higher education to up to 2.5 lakh students from government schools in 18 states.

The districts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh have been included in the pilot phase:

6. A passport size photograph with plain background, not more than 6 months old at the time of application
7. Clearly visible scanned documents without any additional elements like emojis or camera/app stamps
8. Documents in PDF/PNG/JPG/JPEG format only; file size less than 1.5 MB
