Post Matric ST Scholarship

This is a centrally sponsored scholarship for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in Nagaland. It provides financial assistance to ST students to continue their studies after class 10 (post-matric level), including diploma and degree courses.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Scheduled Tribe (ST) student from Nagaland.
  • Studying in Class 11 or above (includes diploma, degree, postgraduate, MPhil, PhD courses).
  • Must be studying in a recognized (empanelled) college/institution.
  • Students who failed last exam (repeaters) cannot apply.
  • Annual family income should be Rs.2.5 lakh or less.

State Medical Scholarship 

The State Medical Scholarship is provided by the Government of Nagaland to support students from Scheduled Tribes (Scheduled Tribes) of Nagaland who are pursuing medical courses like MBBS, BDS, etc. This scholarship helps the students to meet the cost of their education.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Scheduled Tribe (ST) student from Nagaland.
  • Must have Indigenous Certificate.
  • Must be admitted to Medical Courses (MBBS, BDS, or equivalent).

For Fresh Applicants:

  • Visit the official portal: scholarship.nagaland.gov.in
  • Create your account using your basic personal and educational details.
  • Login using your registered email/username and password.
  • Fill the Application Form carefully with personal, educational, and bank details.

Upload the Required Documents:

  • Xerox copy of last class/year progress report.
  • Disability certificate/UDID card.

  • Original income certificate. All applicants whose parents/guardians are employed will have to submit income certificate in Annexure I format only (certified by the employer), otherwise the application will be rejected.
