Eligibility Criteria - GSL Recruitment
(1) Expert / Specialist - Hull Artificer / ERA
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience onboard service as Hull/Engg Artificer/PSE. Experience in HVAC/AC & Ref systems onboard IN/CG ships.
(2) Expert / Specialist - NBCDI / ERA
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in NBCDI on IN frontline warships (Aircraft Carrier/Destroyer/Frigate/Corvette). NBCDI course qualified.
(3) Expert / Specialist - EA(P) / ERA / MECH (Controls)
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience operating/maintaining GT controls on IN ships. Desirable: 2 yrs in GTTT Naval Dockyard (controls). Experience in Talwar/Teg class preferred.
(4) Expert / Specialist - EA (P)
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in maintenance of SRGM/AK-630/SSM/SAM on IN ships. Desirable: 1 yr in FTTT/WATT/WOT(s)/FMU or instructional duties at INS Dronacharya/Valsura. Talwar/Teg class preferred.
(5) Expert / Specialist - EA(R), EL(R)
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in maintenance of ASR, SSR (Fregat, Shtil, Pozitive-M, LYNX U2, EON-51, Comm. systems). Desirable: 1 yr in FTTT/WATT/FM duties. Talwar/Teg class preferred.
(6) Expert / Specialist - Hull Artificer / ERA / EA(P) / EA
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in refits on frontline warships. Talwar/Teg class preferred.
(7) Expert / Specialist - HVACR
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in HVACR on Naval/CG vessels. Knowledge of heat load calc., ventilation, dust collectors, ISHRAE/ASHRAE standards.
(8) Expert / Specialist - Welding
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent + welding/inspection certification (WRI or recognized institute).
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in shipbuilding welding. Knowledge of SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW, ASME codes, PQR, WPS, WPQ. Desirable: RT/UT Level-2 qualification.
(9) Expert / Specialist - Propulsion & Auxiliary Machinery / Piping & Systems
- Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in ship outfitting & engineering production (Naval/CG vessels). Knowledge of planning, coordinating & monitoring piping/outfitting activities.
(10) Expert / Specialist - Outfitting Electrical (Electrical)
- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in outfit electrical jobs on Naval/CG vessels. Hands-on in cable laying, installation, STW & trials of power systems, DG sets, stabilizers, capstans, etc.
(11) Expert / Specialist - Outfitting Electrical (Electronics)
- Qualification: Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in outfit electrical/electronics jobs on Naval/CG vessels. Knowledge of controls, communication, navigation & monitoring systems.
(12) Expert / Specialist - GES & SR
- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years experience in operation of ballast control system (Floating dock/FPSO/Marine platforms). Experience in trials, installation & training.

- Maximum Age: 62 years (as on 31.08.2025).
