Educational Qualification:
(a) Graduate Apprentice -
- A degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a statutory University.
- A degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution empowered to award such degree by an Act of Parliament.
- Graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the Central Government as equivalent to a degree.
- A sandwich course student undergoing training to obtain a degree in Engineering or Technology as mentioned above.
- Graduate or equivalent in general streams such as B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com.
(b) Technician Apprentices -
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an institute recognized by the State or Central Government (equivalent to the above).
- A sandwich course student undergoing training to obtain a Diploma in Engineering or Technology as mentioned above.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years

- Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.
