Intelligence Bureau (IB) Recruitment - Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a valid GATE score in any of the years 2023, 2024, or 2025 in:
- EC (Electronics & Communication)
or - CS (Computer Science & Information Technology)
And possess either:
i) A Graduate Degree in Engineering in any of the following disciplines — Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science & Engineering - from a Government-recognized University, College, or Institute.
Age Limit (as on 16.11.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
Age Relaxation:

- Departmental candidates (Central Govt. Civil employees): up to 40 years
