NEEPCO Notification Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

(1) Executive Trainee (Electrical/Mechanical): 

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical & Automation Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST) and valid GATE 2025 score in the relevant subject.

(2) Executive Trainee (Civil): 

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) and valid GATE 2025 (Civil) score.

(3)Executive Trainee (IT): 

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology from a recognized Institute/University with 65% marks (55% for SC) and valid GATE 2025 (CS) score.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025):

(1) Executive Trainee (Electrical/ Mechanical) -

• UR/ EWS: 30 years
• OBC: 33 years
• SC/ ST: 35 years

(2) Executive Trainee (Civil) -

• UR/ EWS: 30 years

NEEPCO Executive Trainee 2025 Application Fee

Candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 560 through SBI ePay in favor of NEEPCO. However, SC/ST/PwBD/ESM and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
