Eligibility Criteria for DHFWS Paschim Medinipur Recruitment

(1) Staff Nurse (Urban)

Educational Qualification:

Must have completed GNM course from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
OR
Must have completed B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
Must be registered under WBNC.
Must have proficiency in the local language (Bengali).

(ii) ANM (Community Health Assistant - Urban)

Educational Qualification:

Must have passed ANM course from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and be registered with WBNC.
OR
Must have passed GNM course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and registered with WBNC.
Should be proficient in Bengali.
Must be a permanent resident of Paschim Medinipur District (the district where the post is applied for).

(iii) Staff Nurse (Urban Polyclinic)

Educational Qualification:

Must have completed GNM course from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or West Bengal Nursing Council.
OR
Must have completed B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
Must be registered under WBNC.
Must have proficiency in the local language (Bengali).

(iv) Counsellor (XVFC)

Educational Qualification:

Graduation in Social Science from a recognized institute.
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must have knowledge of MS Office and other computer skills for office work.
Must be fluent in local language (Bengali) - both spoken and written.
Should have at least 2 years of work experience in the Health or Social Sector.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 40 years

Pay Scale for DHFWS WB Recruitment 2025

Staff Nurse (Urban): Rs. 25,000/- per month
ANM (Community Health Assistant – Urban): Rs. 13,000/- per month
Staff Nurse (Urban Polyclinic): Rs. 25,000/- per month
Counsellor (XV-FC): Rs. 20,000/- per month

Application Fee for DHFWS Recruitment
