NIT Durgapur Recruitment 2025 - Eligibility Criteria

(1) Principal Scientific/ Principal Technical Officer -

Qualification & Experience: B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc./MCA with 1st Class; 15 years experience as Scientific/Technical Officer (8 years at Sr. level in GP Rs.7600).
Age Limit: 56 years

(2) Superintending Engineer -

Qualification & Experience: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engg. with 1st Class; 15 years relevant experience (5 years as Executive Engineer in GP Rs.7600).
Age Limit: 56 years

(3) Deputy Librarian -

Qualification & Experience: Master’s in Library/Information Science with 60% or 6.5 CGPA; NET/SLET/SET qualified; 5 years experience as Assistant Librarian.
Age Limit: 50 years

(4) Senior SAS Officer -

Qualification & Experience: Master’s in Physical Education/Sports Science with 60%; national-level representation; 5 years experience as SAS Officer.
Age Limit: 50 years

(5) Medical Officer -

Qualification: MBBS Degree; must be registered in State/Indian Medical Register.
Age Limit: 35 years

(6) Assistant Registrar -

Qualification: Master’s in any discipline with 55%; or departmental candidates with service in equivalent grade.
Age Limit: 35 years

(7) Assistant Librarian -

Qualification: Master’s in Library Science/Information Science with 60% or 6.5 CGPA; NET/SLET/SET qualified.
Age Limit: 35 years

(8) Scientific/ Technical Officer -

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./MCA with 1st Class; or employees with 5 years experience in GP Rs.4800.
Age Limit: 35 years

(9) Technical Assistant / Junior Engineer -

Qualification:

For TA: B.E./B.Tech/MCA or Diploma in relevant field with 1st Class.
