HPPSC MO Recruitment - Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college, as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956:
- Included in First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (excluding licentiate qualifications).
- Candidates with qualifications under Part-II of the Third Schedule must meet the conditions of Section 13(3) of the Act.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Desirable Qualification:
Candidate should possess a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule, excluding licentiate qualifications), and those with qualifications under Part-II of the Third Schedule must meet the conditions of Section 13(3) of the Act. Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution as listed in Appendix-A, along with knowledge of the customs.
