SEBI Recruitment - Eligibility Criteria
1) General -
Qualification: Candidate must first have a Master’s Degree or a 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in any discipline. If not, the candidate can still apply if they hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Candidates who are professionally qualified as CA, CFA, CS, or Cost Accountant are also fully eligible.
2) Legal -
Qualification: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
3) Information Technology (IT) -
Qualification: Candidate must either have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any branch) or have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline along with a 2-year postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Computer Application, or Information Technology from a recognized institute.
4) Research -
Qualification: Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree or a 2-year PG Diploma in subjects related to Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, Business Analytics, or related specializations. Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s Degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, International Finance, etc., as well as those with a Master’s in Statistics, Data Science, AI, ML, Big Data Analytics, are eligible. Candidates with a Master’s in Mathematics + 1-year PG Diploma in Statistics are also eligible.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
7) Engineering (Civil) -
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
