Eligibility Criteria for RBI Officer Recruitment 2025

(1) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) - General Cadre:

Educational Qualification:

Graduation (after Class XII, 3 years or more) in any discipline / professional / technical qualification
Minimum 60% marks (UR/EWS/OBC)
Minimum 50% marks (SC/ST/PwBD)
OR
Post-Graduation in any discipline / professional / technical qualification
Minimum 55% marks (UR/EWS/OBC)
Pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD

(2) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) - DEPR Cadre:

Educational Qualification:

M.A./M.Sc. in Economics (Quantitative, Mathematical, Applied, Agricultural, Development, International, Financial, Business, Industrial Economics, Econometrics etc.)
OR
M.A./M.Sc. in Finance (Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Banking & Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, International Finance, Project/Infrastructure Finance, etc.)
Minimum 55% marks (UR/EWS/OBC)
Minimum 50% marks (SC/ST/PwBD)

(3) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) - DSIM Cadre:

Educational Qualification:

Master’s Degree (min. 55%) in Statistics / Mathematics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Informatics / Applied Statistics / Mathematical Statistics or related areas
OR
Master’s Degree (min. 55%) in Data Science / AI / ML / Big Data Analytics or related fields
