(1) Overman -
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Mining Engineering + Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS (Coal Mines Regulation 1957/2017).
- Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS (Coal Mines Regulation 1957/2017).
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in coal mine.
- Minimum 5 years experience in coal mine.
(2) Mining Sirdar -
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Mining Engineering + valid DGMS certificate to work as Mining Sirdar.
- Valid Overman Certificate of Competency from DGMS.
- Valid Mining Sirdar ship Certificate of Competency from DGMS.
Work Experience:
- 1 year experience as Mining Sirdar.
- 2 years experience in mine after obtaining Sirdar ship Certificate.
Age Limit:
- Maximum Age: 32 years

- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PWBD: 10 years
- ExSM & WBPDCL/Contractor Workers - up to 45 years.
