CM Higher Education Encouragement Scholarship Scheme -

CM Higher Education Incentive Scheme is a merit-based scholarship offered by the Government of Uttarakhand to support students studying in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in government colleges or universities in the state. The scheme aims to motivate students to excel in higher education by providing financial assistance and recognition for their merit.

Eligibility:

• Must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
• Must be enrolled in a regular undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) program at a government college or state university campus in Uttarakhand.
• A minimum of 75% attendance during the academic session is required.

Amount:

UG students:

• 1st Year (80%+ in 12th): Rs. 3,000/month (1st), Rs.2,000/month (2nd), Rs.1,500/month (3rd)
  2nd–4th Year (60%+ in prior year): same monthly tiers
• Lump-sum (after final UG year): Rs. 35,000 (1st), Rs. 25,000 (2nd), Rs. 20,000 (3rd)

PG students:

• Monthly: Rs. 5,000 / Rs. 3,000 / Rs. 2,000 for 1st/2nd/3rd positions
• Final lump-sum: Rs. 60,000 / Rs. 35,000 / Rs. 25,000 respectively

Reward Scheme for selected candidates in NDA, IMA, OTA, INA, IAF -

This is a special scholarship scheme of the Government of Uttarakhand that encourages students joining the Indian Armed Forces. It provides a financial award of Rs.50,000 to students selected in prestigious defence institutions like National Defence Academy (NDA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Indian Air Force (IAF). This scheme encourages the youth to join the defence forces.

Eligibility:
